Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using REMITNIX ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Eligibility

To use REMITNIX, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction
• Be a resident of one of our 14 supported countries (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Malaysia, Kuwait, South Korea, Japan, Bahrain, Oman, Maldives, United States, United Kingdom, Australia, India)
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Complete identity verification (KYC) for remittance and cross-border gift features

3. Account Registration

You must register for an account to use most features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account. REMITNIX will not be liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access to your account.

4. Services Provided

REMITNIX provides the following services, subject to availability in your country:

• Utility Bill Payments: Pay Nepal electricity, water, internet, TV, and other bills via the Khalti API
• Mobile Recharge: Top up Ncell, NTC, and other Nepal mobile operators
• Cross-Border Gifts: Send wallet credits to other REMITNIX users across countries (POBO model — not a money transfer)
• Wallet: Top up your wallet in your local currency via Cashfree payment gateway
• Travel Booking: Bus tickets, domestic flights, and mountain flights within Nepal

5. Payment Terms

All payments are processed through Cashfree's secure payment gateway. Exchange rates are sourced from global FX markets with a transparent margin applied. Rates are locked for 5 minutes at the time of transaction initiation. REMITNIX earns revenue solely through the exchange rate margin — there are no hidden fees.

6. Wallet & Withdrawals

Your wallet balance is denominated in the currency of your registered country. Wallet withdrawals are processed as refund-to-source, meaning funds are returned to the original payment method used for the top-up. REMITNIX does not facilitate off-network bank transfers.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of local, state, national, or international law
• Attempt to circumvent KYC or identity verification requirements
• Use the Service for money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crimes
• Create false or misleading accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by REMITNIX and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall REMITNIX, its directors, employees, partners, agents, or suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the Service.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of India, subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to the new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
